Interview with Red

I like to think of my facilitation style as easy, approachable, and inclusive. I try to create a space where everyone feels comfortable interacting with the group.
I find that thoughtfully listening and responding to learners create a comfortable space that makes sessions more engaging.
Coming from a marketing background, I’m very conscious about how we communicate information verbally, through text, and through visuals. I try to emphasize that effective presentations stem from the thoughtful curation of all three.
Virtual training has allowed us to impact more professionals and businesses without having to stretch resources on either end. Virtual sessions can also provide everyone access to tools to help them communicate their individual needs.
From what I’ve seen, in-person training allows individuals to easily connect with their teammates. Discussions can flow freely and candid ideas can be shared in the moment. In addition, learners can take good advantage of seeking more industry and/ or role specific guidance when opportunities come about.
My favorite course to teach is Data Storytelling for Business because of its potential to fundamentally change a business across all levels through effective data communication.
After running my first marathon in February 2023, I have committed to encouraging my wife and kids to be more active. Outside of exercise, I spend most of my downtime playing video games with my kids.
